Heritage Reimagined – Between Comfort and Confrontation 

Inspired by our ambivalence in the face of today’s polycrisis, this indigo knitwear collection explores the contrast between the softness of knitwear and the structure of denim. It reinterprets denim heritage and classical and historical references into pieces that reflect the two forms of protection we seek today: on one side, the sheltering cocoon that allows us to retreat and recharge; on the other, the resilient armor – clothes that prepares us to face challenges and engage with the world. The result is a versatile, emotional, and contemporary collection designed to, like denim garments, both embrace and defy the passage of time.
Development of a knitwear capsule built around a newly developed indigo-dyed yarn, designed to explore the material’s wash potential while presenting an A/W 26/27 inspirational concept for current and prospective clients. The strategic challenge was to create a highly versatile 12-piece collection capable of addressing brands targeting different consumer groups, levels of trend adoption, and price points. By analyzing the positioning of brands such as Bershka, Zara, Pull & Bear, Mango, Massimo Dutti, and COS across trend relevance, target maturity, and price range, I established four distinct product directions to expand the capsule’s relevance across different brand profiles. 
Desenvolvimento de uma cápsula de knitwear a partir de um novo fio tinto com índigo, criada para explorar as possibilidades de lavanderia do material e apresentar inspiração para o Outono/Inverno 2026–27 a clientes atuais e potenciais. O desafio estratégico foi construir uma coleção versátil de apenas 12 peças, capaz de atender marcas voltadas a diferentes perfis de consumidor, níveis de aderência às tendências e faixas de preço. Para estruturar a cápsula, analisei o posicionamento de marcas como Bershka, Zara, Pull & Bear, Mango, Massimo Dutti e COS a partir de critérios como relevância de tendência, maturidade de público e posicionamento de preço, definindo quatro direcionamentos de produto distintos para ampliar a aplicabilidade da coleção em diferentes perfis de marca.
