Future Now is a capsule collection created for the Sustainable Denim Wardrobe 2019 project.
The concept explores the cyberpunk motto "High tech, low life”, to express how contradictory is to have so much technology while so many people struggle with unhealthy working environments. It also discusses that we are a different future from the one imagined in the early 20th century when the first “sweatshops" appeared in New York.
Sustainable and innovative materials and processes, such as TENCEL™ Lyocell indigo chambrays and garment finishing technologies from Jeanologia (namely laser marking and e-flow dyeing (nanobubbles) are the tools to highlight the fact we can make it differently.

O conceito gira em torno do lema cyberpunk "High tech, low life”, para expressar quão contraditório é ter tanta tecnologia por um lado e por outro tantas pessoas tendo que se expor diariamente a ambientes insalubres. Também reflete sobre como nós somos um futuro diferente do imaginado no início do século passado, quando as primeiras “sweatshops" apareciam em Nova York.
Materiais e processos sustentáveis e inovadores, como chambrays índigo de TENCEL™ Lyocell e as tecnologias sustentáveis de lavanderia da Jeanologia (especificamente marcação a laser e tingimento e-flow (nanobolhas) são as ferramentas utilizadas para evidenciar que podemos fazer diferente.
